Have you read the Lord of the Rings, Have you seen the size of that book wow! well i just found a new way to get the best way to read it and that is to hear it with great narration, giving you the background to the stories, the audio collection of lord of the rings is massive compared to the book did you know the unabridged version of the fellowship of ring is nineteen hours long! the two towers is seventeen hours long and the final chapter is the return of the king is also nineteen hours long, well that is what i call a story,

Dont get me wrong reading a book is great and still the best way to take in a book but as an alternative the audio books are second to none, as the narrator takes you through each chapter with all the background effects,

Something interesting that you might want to check out is that you can purchase a cd with portions of the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings being read by Tolkien himself!! It is amazing to hear the voice of this incredible author speak with such passion as he reads his life's work! Tolkien is my favorite author and I hope to publish many hubs about him and his writiings on hubpages!
